Before I cover my background and experience, I should point out what motivates and pushes me to do what I do. Being a husband and father are two of my biggest “titles” in life and are what I strive to excel at. Spending time with my family is one of my driving motivators and I’ve been blessed with the success of internet marketing to be able to spend quality time with my family and even help my wife “retire” from elementary teaching to become a stay-at-home mom, which has always been one of her biggest goals in life.

Something you won’t find me doing is posing with checks or displaying my monthly income stats for the world to see. I’m not knocking other internet marketers that do that, it’s just that money isn’t the driving motivator for me and therefore is not what I want to “promote.” My success is based off the fulfillment my family and I have at the end of each day and the ability to go to bed at night and feel great about the previous hours we were awake and not have a pit in our stomach thinking about the “job” we have to go to, how we’re going to pay a bill, etc. You undoubtedly have your own goal for your internet business and the information you’ll find throughout this website can hopefully help you obtain that goal. I’ve been extremely blessed to obtain numerous personal goals using internet marketing and I lovehaving the opportunity to share that knowledge with you!

Speaking of blessed, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the saving grace of God through my savior, Jesus Christ. I’ve been through more than I’ll go into here, but there is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t be where I am today without faith. My rookie year in internet marketing was 1997 (the same year Google was launched) as I started getting my feet wet with web design and development. It was mostly personal projects that generated little income, but I soon landed the opportunity to create an e-commerce website. That first major project was the starting point of my journey through internet marketing, which has now spanned well over a decade. After firmly realizing that internet marketing is what I wanted to focus my career on, I “attended” the Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division and received a bachelor of science degree in Interactive Media Design with a President’s Award in 2006.

Now, that’s 4 years of late nights and hard work crammed into one run-on sentence, but I’m a firm believer in experience trumps education in the long run. Sure, you have to get your education somewherebut it’s what you do with it and what you learn along the way that will determine your success. Dig in and learn what you can, but the most important thing you can do is start putting that knowledge to use as soon as possible! Just do something…it doesn’t have to be perfect. You’ll learn as you go…and there are plenty of resources available on the internet to answer just about any question you’ll run into. Just jump in and get started!
